On the day of celebration,
Beneath a quiet ocean a monster's yawning,
How can you know the pain inside and guilt I hide.
Too many souls lost to God's glory,
No time to say goodbye. No hope, no search effected,
How can you know the pain inside and guilt I hide.
On New year’s eve we celebrate the new,
I try to comprehend and understand,
How can you know the pain inside and guilt I hide.
Yet I see God working with the cultural divide
Even in a foreign land,
How can you know the pain inside and guilt I hide.
We may not know the depth of your pain and guilt,
Hopeful in the healing, coming to grips with it’s meaning. By Trevor J Ward |
